Service Description

Kati Basti is a pool of high-quality herb-infused oil that penetrates deeply into the sacrum bringing pain relief and a feeling of being grounded. It can also be used on other areas of the back, the knee, the neck, or the heart. This treatment is especially beneficial for spine and disc issues. The sacrum is a site of vata in the body and applying this pool of oil on the sacrum also helps to reduce feelings of anxiety, worry, fear, insecurity, and loneliness. Ideally, this treatment is combined with one of the full-body treatments as the full-body treatment will relax the whole body, allowing the kati basti to focus on the muscles specifically around the sacrum. 7-10 consecutive treatments are recommended for sustained healing. Please allow time to rest after the treatment in order to receive the full benefits.
