About Wise Woman Ayurveda and Belinda Baer
Ayurveda for Real Life—
Rooted, Rhythmic, and Just Woo Enough
Hi, I’m Belinda—a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner working for more than a decade as a wellness guide for women who are waking up to their second act and want to feel deeply alive in their bodies again.
I help women 40+ reconnect with their natural rhythms, get better sleep, and restore digestion—not with strict regimens or fad trends, but with grounded, time-tested Ayurvedic practices that feel like coming home.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about awareness.
I blend ancient Ayurvedic wisdom with modern, no-fluff guidance to support women over 40 who are burned out by the noise of wellness culture and just want a path that works—especially when it comes to sleep, energy, and digestion.
My Story

I didn’t come to Ayurveda because I wanted to.
I came because I had to.
There was a point when I was struggling in life—my relationship was imploding, my body was not working the same way it had after a surgery, and I had lost my joy in teaching Yoga.
It all felt like trying to force a life that no longer fit.
Then I found Ayurveda—and it was love at first oil massage.
A month after my first immersion into Ayurveda during a Structural Yoga Therapy Teacher Training, I was sitting in a classroom, diving deeper so I could become an Ayurvedic Practitioner.
And slowly, I came back to life.
Now I guide other women through that same process—honoring the seasons of the body, the mind, and the natural world around us.
My Time in India: Where Ancient Wisdom Became Personal
Ayurveda didn’t become real for me in a book or on a screen, although I used any opportunity I could find to learn more.
It became real in India—on the ground, in daily life, in the rhythm of mornings, markets, temples, and teachings that seeped into my bones.
I’ve spent time living and studying in India, learning not just through courses and clinics, but through immersion.
I walked the early morning streets while the city stirred awake.
I experienced what it means to align with nature—not as a concept, but as a way of being.

This wasn’t about “retreat” life, although I did have an ashram experience or two over the years (and, oh, the stories I could tell about ashram life).
It was everyday life. Real, beautiful, often gritty.
The wisdom of Ayurveda showed up in small, ordinary moments: the timing of meals, the way herbs are prepared, rising with the sun and going to bed when it sets, the sacred pause before sleep, the art of oiling the body with care and presence.
These experiences shaped how I teach and how I consult.
They highlighted to me that Ayurveda isn’t something you “do”—it’s something you live.
And now, I bring that lived rhythm back into everything I share—from your morning routine to your bedtime ritual, from how you digest food to how you digest emotion.
Ayurveda is timeless.
But when it’s lived, it becomes timely—right here, right now, in your own kitchen, your own breath, your own healing.
