Fresh Cilantro Sauce

About the Recipe

This delicious fresh cilantro sauce can be used on top of a host of different dishes from steamed, roasted, or sautéd vegetables to casseroles and other dishes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped, fresh cilantro

  • 2 dates, pitted and chopped

  • 4 teaspoons grated, fresh ginger

  • 3-4 tablespoons (or more if needed) extra virgin olive oil

  • Juice from 1 lemon or lime

  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup or jaggery

  • Salt to taste

  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Preparation

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. 


Delicious over roasted or steamed vegetables or pasta.
