Dosha Adjustments
Adjustments for Vata
Vata types can enjoy this fresh herbal sauce by blending in extra olive oil or ghee, sweet dates, and a pinch of sea salt. Pairing fresh cilantro with warming ginger and healthy fats prevents raw herbs from causing cooling digestive dryness.
Adjustments for Pitta
Fresh cilantro sauce is a premier remedy for Pitta due to cilantro's intense cooling and blood-cleansing properties. Blended with sweet dates, lemon, and mild olive oil, it acts as a cooling condiment that soothes fiery digestion.
Adjustments for Kapha
Kapha types can enjoy this green sauce by increasing fresh ginger, using lemon juice, and keeping olive oil to a minimum. The bright, astringent cilantro paired with pungent ginger helps kindle sluggish agni without adding heavy fats.
