How to Use

Make tongue scraping the very first thing you do every morning before drinking water.

Hold the two ends of the scraper, extend your tongue, and place the curved metal at the back of your tongue.

Gently pull forward with one smooth stroke to clear away the morning coating.

Rinse the scraper under warm water and repeat 5 to 7 times until the tongue feels clean and fresh.

Rinse and follow with a warm glass of water to activate your digestion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is a copper tongue scraper preferred over plastic or stainless steel?

Copper is traditionally prized in Ayurveda for its natural element-balancing properties and inherent antimicrobial action. Unlike plastic scrapers, which trap bacteria easily, or stainless steel, which lacks active properties, copper helps eliminate odor-causing bacteria while gently stimulating vital digestive organs. Those with a Pitta constitution may want to stick with stainless steel.

Will the copper tongue scraper tarnish over time, and how do I clean it?

Yes, pure copper naturally oxidizes and darkens over time when exposed to air and moisture. To restore its bright, original luster, simply rub the scraper with a tiny pinch of fine salt and fresh lemon juice, rinse it with warm water, and dry it completely with a towel.
